Bad Bramstedt – "The putter won it this week!" Sebastian Heisele accepted his second trophy this year in Bad Bramstedt, Schleswig-Holstein with great pleasure; he had already claimed the Open Dar Es Salam in Morocco in April.

The 26-year old played rounds of 68, 64 and 67 at the inaugural Pro Golf Tour tournament at the Golf & Country Club Gut Bissenmoor in Bad Bramstedt placing him with 14 under par clearly ahead of the Dutchman Reinier Saxton and Marcel Schneider from Pleidelsheim who shared second place with 10 under par.

Following constantly good results over the last few weeks, among others a fourth place recently at the Augsburg Classic, the long hitter enjoyed a triumphant win this time. On the 71 par course at the Golf & Country Club Gut Bissenmoor, which was the venue for a Pro Golf Tour tournament for the first time, he demonstrated precision from the tee and persistently exploited his opportunities on the greens.

Heisele proved his mental strength and self-confidence in the second round in particular when he managed eight birdies. Training with a mental coach since the start of the year and changing his supplier are the basis of this success, according to Heisele: "I have gained a lot of self-confidence. Working with a psychologist and changing to new clubs are now starting to bear fruits." In Bad Bramstedt an improved putter was of particular help. "After I shot the eagle put from three metres on hole 4, everything went really well. I had the feeling that I was able to win."

Thanks to this win and the associated 5,000 ranking list points, Sebastian Heisele moves up to third place in the Pro Golf Tour Order of Merit. Marcel Schneider remains the number 1 having completed the three rounds in Bad Bramstedt totally in step with Reinier Saxton, both carded 64, 71 and 68 strokes. Sean Einhaus remains second in the ranking having completed the tournament at Gut Bissenmoor in 20^th place.

There are two tournaments still left in the 2014 season: The "Preis des Hardenberg GolfResort" (31 August to 2 September) in Northeim, as well as the season final, the "Deutsche Bank Polish Masters Pro Golf Tour Championship" in Sobienie Jeziory near Warsaw, Poland. Sebastian Heisele is confident: "Another two good results, then it's off to the Challenge Tour in 2015." The Pro Golf Tour 2014 season definitely still holds plenty of suspense.
